Atlas Star Energy is one in a growing network of premium Energy Efficiency Service Companies.

Atlas Star Energy's mission is to provide cost effective energy saving products and services. The Management of  Atlas Star Energy, Inc began this mission in late 2002 when they formed.

Atlas Star Energy began with an office in Amarillo, Corpus Christi, and a couple of years later in Dallas.

The original business plan focused on contracting with Texas Electric Transmission and Distribution Utilities (TDU's) in their Demand Side Management Projects. These DSM projects are called "Standard Offer Programs"; these contracts require that energy savings be delivered through the energy efficiency retrofits of residential and small commercial sites. 

Over the last 5 years Atlas has managed the retrofit of over 10,000 multifamily units and 3,000 single family homes under commercial contracts with various TDUs across the State of Texas. Those Energy Efficiency Improvements have resulted in a  reduction of more than 10 megawatts of demand and 13 million kilowatt hours. That's over $2.3 million dollars worth of avoided cost and energy savings.
Atlas Star Energy is still actively seeking additional projects like these.

 In 2005 the management of Atlas Star Energy recognized consumers growing interest in becoming more energy efficient and GREEN. From that time on Atlas Star Energy began doing business with the residential sector as A Cooler House.

Atlas / ACH now address the opportunities in both Commercial and Residential premiss's' providing expert energy efficiency analysis and professional curative project implementation.

Atlas Star Energy is now working closely with "ICF International"'s "Home Performance with Energy Star" program which helps Homeowners recognize Energy Efficiency Opportunities; while at the same time assisting Realtors and Home Inspection services to deliver added value in the home buying/selling process.
